A chef from Gugulethu in Cape Town, South Africa has been selected to perfect his art in delicious pastries.

Siyabulela Booi, a third year student at the South African’s Chefs Academy was awarded a six-week bursary to study the jewels of making pastries, this coming as a complete shocker to Siya, as he was unsure of where he’s life was headed just a year ago!

The proud chef is now excited to be jetting off this coming Friday where he will be able to perfect his skill in pastries, and now learn about the global food industry.
